Our growth as a humane nation will continue to be stagnated, as long as we pretend that prejudice is not a prominent issue in our country today. We must move past our insecurities and open a forum for dialouge. By remaining silent, we only allow closed minded opinions to brew to a point of boil. In turn, this boil will simply overflow and eliminate the ability for a measured response. We must be willing to speak with conviction and debate our fellow man on issues of concern. Not simply in a desire to convince them to agree with us, but rather to respect our differences and search for a positive medium. Word
